With less than two weeks until Release 6, here’s a handy checklist of activities you should have in place before go live on 8 October 2018.

Updated Claims Portal User Agreements

The Claims Portal User Agreement has been updated - details of the changes made to the agreement can be found here.

To continue using the Portal the new agreement needs to be read and the terms agreed to before 8 October.

All organisations with a live Claims Portal account need to click to accept the new terms and conditions of the Combined User Agreement, which apply to both web and A2A Users of the Portal.

Your Portal Administrator needs to log into the Administrator section and accept these new terms and conditions by pressing the ‘I Accept’ button. When accepting the new User Agreement, your Administrator will be agreeing to the new terms and conditions on behalf of your organisation.

For Release 6, Software houses will not be required to sign an updated version of the User Interface Development Agreement.

What you need to do prior to go live

Following the upgrade of the web training site and A2A integration site to Release 6, it is important to ensure you familiarise yourself with the changes and test the Release prior to go live on 8 October 2018.

A2A Users

Check that your A2A test credentials are working, and

  • Familiarise yourself with the changes
  • Check that you have an active and enabled Administrator for the live web Portal who will be able to accept the User Agreement on behalf of your organisation
  • Log into the web Portal and accept the User Agreement.

Web Users

Check that you can access your existing training account, and;

  • If your login credentials are not working, contact your Training Portal Administrator.
  • Familiarise yourself with the changes in the training environment
  • Check that you have an active and enabled Administrator for the live Portal who will be able to accept the User Agreement on behalf of your organisation
  • Log into the web Portal and accept the User Agreement.

A copy of the recent Web User guide can also be found here for guidance on the Release 6 changes being implemented.

Implementation Schedule

Draft claims will be deleted after normal business hours at 19:00 on Friday 5 October

  • We will take down the production site at 14:00 on Saturday 6 October. The test site will still be available during this time.
  • The service will be down all day Sunday 7 October.
  • The service will resume with R6 deployed at 07:00 on Monday 8 October.

Prior to the implementation of Release 6, all draft claims will be identified and deleted. This is because there are changes to the contents of the CNFs. If you have draft claims, you will need to progress these by close of business on Friday 5 October 2018.  Alternatively, you will need to print off a draft and re-input after implementation of Release 6.
