Following our communication last month, this is a reminder that Claims Portal is enhancing security via a new form of multi‑factor authentication (MFA).  This will be through the introduction of an Authenticator App.

Authenticator will become the preferred login option for all web users.

We can now confirm that the go-live date is Wednesday 10th June 2026.

 

What’s changing

Users will be able to log in using a third‑party Authenticator App (such as Microsoft Authenticator, Google Authenticator or similar).

Authenticator App MFA will be available to all Web Portal users, and users should select this as their preferred authentication method at login.

Following the introduction of the Authenticator App, SMS authentication will be phased out from July 2026, with email authentication to follow from early 2027. Further updates on timings will be shared in due course.
