We are now in the final weeks before the 30th June 2026 deadline to migrate from SOAP to REST.

The SOAP API will be switched off on 30th June 2026.

After this date:

  • A2A connectivity will be available only via REST
  • Organisations that have not migrated will lose API access to the Claims Portal

What You Need to Do Now

If you have not yet completed your migration, please take steps now to move it forward as quickly as possible. At this stage, you should be working towards finalising your testing and submitting your sign off pack (Phase 3), including:

  1. Registering for the Developer Portal
  2. Obtaining your testing credentials
  3. Completing testing and submitting your sign-off pack
  4. Submitting the production REST API form to obtain live credentials

Important timing constraints:

  • Testing sign-off: up to 10 business days
  • Production credentials: up to 5 business days
  • Processing times will increase as the deadline approaches

If you haven’t started or are not close to submitting your sign-off pack for approval, your ability to meet the deadline is at risk.  You need to submit the sign-off pack by close of business on the 9th June to allow 15 business days prior to the SOAP API being switched off on the 30th June.

Important Reminder

If you use a software provider:

  • You are still responsible for requesting your own production credentials.
  • This cannot be done by your software house.

If you miss the deadline:

If you cannot complete your REST migration by 30th June, please use the Claims Portal web interface to maintain access.

To prepare:

You can reconnect via A2A after completing your REST development.
