Web Portal Upgrade – launch date announcement

In May 2023 we announced our plans to upgrade the Claims Portal platform, involving moving the Portal to a cloud-based hosting solution.

We can now let you know that we are expecting the changes to go live at 7am on Tuesday 28th May 2024.

In order to migrate from the old platform, we will need to take the Claims Portal offline from 7pm on Friday 24th to 7am on Tuesday 28th May. As this is a weekend and a Bank Holiday, there will be no impact on claims timeouts.

For A2A users, there is no IT development needed at this time.  Your current connection will be moved over to the upgraded Portal over the weekend.

For web users, there will be improvements to the look, feel and functionality of the web interface. These will be detailed in our training guides on the Claims Portal website.

We will also be improving the customer experience on the Claims Portal website, adding additional functionality, and bringing the look and feel in line with the planned upgrades to the Claims Portal.

More details will follow, as we complete our final checks over the next few weeks, and we will be communicating weekly with you to make sure you are ready for the changes.

Duplicate emails: FOR ACTION NOW

As the new platform prohibits the use of duplicate email addresses associated with multiple accounts for security reasons, we would urge Administrators to ensure all user profiles have only one named profile using their own unique business email address. This does not include using the same email address for multiple organisations. Full details can be found here.

A2A – after go live: Immediately after go live, A2A Users will continue to connect to the Portal using existing SOAP APIs and no immediate development is required.  However, A2A Users will have access to the new modern version of the interface and the new Developer Portal.  This will enable Users to perform the necessary development required to move from the old SOAP to the new REST APIs when they are ready to do so. The two methods of connection will initially run in parallel to allow sufficient time for A2A users to make the necessary changes (up to Q2 2025). We’ll share more information about this shortly.
