Claims Portal is enhancing MFA and security via an Authenticator App. This will be the preferred login option for users. The update is scheduled to go live in June.

This enhancement will initially add a third verification method, alongside existing Email and SMS authentication.

What’s changing

  • Users will be able to log in using a third‑party Authenticator App (such as Microsoft Authenticator, Google Authenticator or similar).
  • Authenticator App MFA will be available to all Web Portal users.
  • Users should use Authenticator App, as their  preferred MFA method at login.
  • We will be phasing out the use of SMS authentication and email , which are less secure forms of authentication, after the introduction of the Authenticator App. Communications on the timing of this, will follow

What’s not changing

  • There is no impact to APIs or system integrations.

Why this is being introduced

The Authenticator App MFA strengthens security and aligns the Claims Portal with industry‑standard authentication practices.

Further communications will be issued ahead of the June go‑live with guidance for users on how to set up and use the Authenticator App.
